RebirthRO Beginner Guide

New to RebirthRO? This guide will get you from zero to playing in under 10 minutes. RebirthRO is a free pre-renewal Ragnarok Online private server running since 2004, now live as RevivalRO.

Step 1: Download the Client

Head to the Download page and grab the full game client. It is approximately 3.3 GB and completely free.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Go to ragnarevival.com and register a free account. You will need a username, password and email address.

Step 3: Install and Launch

Extract the downloaded archive using WinRAR or 7-Zip.
Run Setup.exe or Play.exe from the extracted folder.
Select the proxy server closest to your location for the best ping.
Log in with your account credentials.

Step 4: Create Your Character

Choose your starting class. All characters begin as Novice and can job change at Job Level 10. Check the Classes page for details on every class path.

Popular starter classes for new RebirthRO players:

Class	Why
Knight / Lord Knight	Tanky, easy to level, strong in PvP and WoE.
Wizard / High Wizard	Powerful AoE damage, excellent for leveling and farming.
Hunter / Sniper	Ranged damage, safe leveling, good solo class.
Priest / High Priest	Always needed in parties. Great support for WoE guilds.
Assassin / Assassin Cross	Fast killer, good for MvP hunting and PvP.

Step 5: Level Up

RebirthRO runs at 100x/100x EXP rates so leveling is quick but still rewarding.

1-30	Training Grounds, Payon Dungeon Floor 1
30-70	Orc Dungeon, Byalan Dungeon
70-99	Stings (Glast Heim Sewers), Anolians
99 (Rebirth)	Job change to Transcendent class
99-175	Rachel Sanctuary, Thor's Volcano
175-255	Nameless Island, Bio Labs, Abbey

Tips for New Players

Talk to the Kafra NPCs in every town for storage, teleport and save point services.
Use @commands to check rates, find NPCs and warp to towns. See the Commands page.
Join a guild early for War of Emperium and social gameplay.
Check the Daily Rewards system for free items every day.
The RebirthRO economy is player-driven. Vend your loot and buy gear from other players.
